The pilot program requires applicants to have a valid job offer from a Nova Scotia business in one of the approved occupations listed.

72200 – Electricians (except industrial and power system)
72201 – Industrial electricians
72310 – Carpenters
72320 – Bricklayers
72401 – Heavy-duty equipment mechanics
72402 – Heating, refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics

These occupations range from construction managers and electricians to carpenters, heavy equipment operators, and more. Eligible applicants must also meet other criteria such as having relevant work experience, a high school diploma or completion of a construction-specific industry training program, and language proficiency.
